Hope you had a fabulous weekend! It got so crazy busy around here that I didn't get a chance to put up a blog post all weekend, yikes! So without further adieu, some catching up is necessary...
I took Friday afternoon and all day on Saturday to spend some time hanging out and relaxing with friends and some family. My husband and I recently made a slightly large purchase...we bought a boat! So, of course, I had to go with so we could try it out this weekend:) We took it out on Friday afternoon for its maiden voyage and it was great!! No major issues, no scary surprises, and best of all we didn't sink:)
Here she is! We haven't picked out a name for her yet, any suggestions?

We took the boat out on Saturday with Chris's parents and spent the day on the lake. Chris's was super excited to ski and wakeboard, he did pretty well!
In preparation for a day out on the lake we also geared up for the weekend by hitting the Downtown Farmers Market Saturday morning for "breakfast".
I had a peach/rhubarb/wheat grass smoothie. A little on the sour side so it wasn't Chris's fave but I thought it was super yummy!
Chris and I also split 'Gooners', it's like a Crab Rangoon but this one was stuffed with
spicy sausage and chili con queso, YUMM!! This was also his best attempt at a smile that day:)
Then of course we had to wash it down with a glass of homemade root
beer, home-brewed is the best!
Whenever we go to the Farmer's Market there is always one particular booth Chris likes to look at, the Bonsai Tree booth. My hubby has a fascination with bonsai trees and whenever we see a sign, ad, shop with them, we always have to go look. We have even been to a few Bosai conventions (yes, you heard me right-conventions for Bonsai-ha!) in the search for the perfect Bonsai, and alas we have yet to find it! We will search on, hahaha!
