I came across an inspiring "who's who" this morning that I would like to share with you all...
I know I have mentioned a million times before that I am pretty much in love with RockN'Roll Bride and especially her Green Room feature, where she shares industry insights, tips and tricks, and inspirational interviews from a never ending list of "who's who" in the wedding industry. She posted an interview yesterday with Chris Guillebeau and his very awe inspiring personal drive: The Art of Non-Conformity (AONC), Unconventional Strategies for Life, Work, and Travel. Previous to this article I knew only a little bit about Chris Guillebeau, most of which I had garnered from the addition of his book, "The $100 Startup" (more on the book in a later post), to my summer "Must Read!" list after seeing rave reviews via twitter.

"Still in his early thirties, Chris is on the verge of completing a tour of every country on earth – he’s already
visited more than 175 nations – and yet he’s never held a “real job” or earned a regular paycheck. Rather, he
has a special genius for turning ideas into income, and he uses what he earns both to support his
life of adventure and to give back. "

Well, long story short, reading his interview prompted me to want to delve a little deeper into "who is Chris Guillebeau?". Going directly to his site (here) I was able to garner a bit more information, or in other words stalk his website to learn more about him:)
Below are Chris's words on just exactly what it is that he does:
- I write about personal development and life planning, with the conviction that you don’t have to live your life the way other people expect you to.
- I write about entrepreneurship and other kinds of unconventional work, with the belief that the work we do should be both fun and meaningful.
- I write about international travel, travel hacking in general, and my journeys to more than 25 countries every year.
Got your attention?! He sure caught mine!!!
The fact that he has done so much traveling to so many places, is awe inspiring alone! I love to travel and would love to be able to make that passion more of a priority in my own life. Also, I find it quite remarkable that he is what he claims to be "virtually unemployable" and left his last "real" job at the age of 20!! His words are so personally relatable that its eery! So, all in all, it's a pretty sure thing that I will be picking up a copy of his book and I would love to hear if any of you do as well, we can make our own regular little book club:)
Enjoy your Thursday All!!

I've been meaning to pick up this book too! Might be on my next Amazon order...with Bethenny's new one of course!
