Saving the green..

Hello All!

Just a short post today to inspire some thought sorting on the financial front. When attempting to embrace change on any front wether it be career minded or not there will always be a few hiccups to be expected. For those of you that are considering a major career focused change, keep in mind that you may have to make some compromises on what is important now versus what is important to achieve your long-term goals. There are several articles out there about being "smart" or "thrifty" with your money, but one in particular that I appreciated was by Kimberlee of The Peaceful Mom. She has a straight forward approach that is so raw and honest, she simply shares what has worked for her family of six!-how to implement and why the strategies have worked. She spares the reader from a sugarcoated "its so easy, life is so good" approach and is honest and detailed. Not every approach will work for every one, and granted if you are like me and do not have any children but quite a large shoe collection and a husband that enjoys toys (ie motorcycle, boat, the latest "-but its such a great deal!"craigslist find:)) then these strategies can be still be implemented into your personal financials with a little bit of examination and willpower! Happy reading friends and please do share if you have any "smart money" articles that have impacted your life!
