It's Wednesday!

So today, being Wednesday, means that we are halfway to the weekend! Why so excited for the weekend? 'Cuz this weekend is going to rock! I am venturing to Omaha to do some vintage jewelry sourcing and meet the amazing Brooke of Brooklyns Photography! I "met" Brooke through a previous job we both held, though she worked in Omaha and I worked here in Des Moines. We spent a lot of time chatting back and forth on the phone and became fast friends!  Along with meeting Brooke, my dearest friend Sarah, (who is also in the midst of building her Event Planning business!) will be heading to Omaha along with me, actually we will be old school road trippin' complete with chic sunglasses, belt-it-out music, and most likely a Starbucks for each hand:). I have a feeling that there will be a lot of biz chatting and idea bouncing and I am so totally pumped. Oh, and of course killer shopping, cocktails, and a much needed excuse to get fancied up and be girly! It will be a total "whooo-yeah!" girls weekend! Now I am off to attempt to stay focused on today, and to make a few cute headbands to wear this weekend, ha!
